(Oct 5) Day 1 - Depart U.S.A. for Florence, Italy
(Oct 6) Day 2 - Arrive in Florence, Italy, and travel to Montecatini to check in at Albergo Natucci. Enjoy our first group dinner featuring local specialties of Montecatini.
(Oct 7) Day 3 – Piazza in Montecatini
(Oct 8) Day 4 – Ride the historic Funicular to Montecatini Alto, a charming medieval village with stunning views, ancient fortresses, and a vibrant central piazza.
(Oct 9) Day 5 – Open Day (for those that want to explore the area on your own)
(Oct 10) Day 6 – Journey to Castelvecchio, a remarkably preserved medieval village. Enjoy the cultural experience of a “pranzo di lavoro,” a traditional Italian workers’ lunch, and take an easy hike along a bubbling stream to view the ruins of an old Roman mill.
(Oct 11) Day 7 – Museo della Carta di Pescia
(Oct 12) Day 8 – Experience the rich traditions of Lucca with a sensory journey through wine, olive oil, and antipasto at Fattoria Il Poggio. This includes a guided tour of the vineyards and aging cellars and a visit to the legendary Quercia delle Streghe, a majestic 600-year-old oak tree. Explore the medieval hill town of Montecarlo and visit the Fortress of Cerruglio, which offers historic towers and panoramic views.
(Oct 13) Day 9 - Lucca – Take the train to Lucca, the birthplace of composer Giacomo Puccini, known for its Renaissance walls, “hundred churches,” and visit the iconic Guinigi Tower.
(Oct 14) Day 10 - Transfer to the Florence Airport for your trip back to the U.S.A

The cost of the flight will be paid by the client’s credit card when the flights are made. If the reservation is cancelled, the flight will be refunded based on the airline’s refund policy. However, only a portion of the balance will be refunded based on the policies of excursions, hotel, etc.
